JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- The woman who authorities say was shot and killed by a man she shared a child with has been identified.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department identified the woman as Kiersten Hansen, 22, of Janesville.
She was found dead on April 17 near the 1400 block of Afton Road. Preliminary results from the autopsy confirm that Hansen died from homicidal firearm related trauma.
Logan Barclay, 23, of Janesville, is charged with causing her death. Barclay is charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
Investigators believe Barclay killed Hansen because she was pregnant with his child again.
Barclay was given a $1 million cash bond on Monday. He is expected back in court on Friday.
