Big 6th Inning Leads Brewers Past Twins 7-3

The Milwaukee Brewers have reached twelve games over .500 for the first time this season after their 7-3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. The Brewers record sits at 69-57 and after the Chicago Cubs loss on Tuesday, Milwaukee sits 3.5 games ahead of Chicago in the NL Central.

The Brewers got on the board first when Willy Adames hit a two-run home run in the first inning. However, the Twins answered back and led 3-2 after five innings.

In the sixth inning, the Brewers offense came alive. Milwaukee scored five runs on six singles to take a 7-3 lead.

The bullpen was stellar behind Wade Miley on Tuesday night, and held the Twins scoreless the rest of the way. Milwaukee won 7-3.

The Brewers will wrap up their brief two-game series with the Twins on Wednesday afternoon at 1:10pm. After the game, Tim Allen will join Drew & KB for the Baseball Postgame Show.
