MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say two homes in Madison were burglarized at the same time early Tuesday morning.
Police say the homes were located on the 5300 block of Comanche Way.
They say just after 2 a.m. one homeowner saw the burglars in their home and chased after them. The suspects ran to a black SUV where they got away.
As those burglars were running away, another burglar was stealing the neighbor's car. Police say the neighbor left the car unlocked and they believe the burglar got into the home through the garage door opener and stole a purse and the car keys.
Police say the burglars left in a possible Toyota SUV. The suspects were described as men in their 20s with one wearing a red jacket.
