Been in the radio news business for 18 years.  Born in La Crosse, but for the most part grew up in Belleville...  Graduated from MATC and Brown Institute in Minneapolis.  Worked in Fort Atkinson, Sparta, Janesville, Milwaukee and Madison.

I'm married to Fred with two step-sons, Robert and Royce.  We have a home in Ashton, which is right outside of Middleton on highway 12.  Robert is a stand-out LaCrosse player in Waunakee, while Royce also plays LaCrosse, football, and is an all around smart kid and smart alec.  I am also the mom to two beloved beagles, Wallace and Grommit.  Wallace is a true beagle (and a true diva), while Grommit is a half-breed.  And the Ashton community is quite convinced Grommit is heterosexually-challenged.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

My hobbies...playing with my beagles, watching my step sons play lacrosse, cooking, reading, riding with my husband on his Harley and taking long naps.

Best career moment...cheesy as it sounds, but working alongside the best in the business...my father, John Colbert...and also, working with my sister Tammy, who co-hosts the morning show on Star Country.  My mother would be extremely proud.
