Dick Alpert, Host

Dick Alpert graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.  While in Madison, Dick was on the air at the old country version of WMAD and later when it morphed into WWQM.  He started his full time professional radio career at KFIZ in Fond du Lac. After a stint in La Crosse at WIZM, Dick moved to Milwaukee and landed some part-time positions before accepting a full-time gig at WEMP in 1982. Stints at WISN, WLTQ, WZTR and WEZW followed. John Colbert, News Anchor

John Colbert co-anchors the top and bottom of the hour newscasts during Madison in the Morning.  When not at the anchor desk, John serves as WIBA's State Capitol reporter, covering the Legislature, Supreme Court, Governor and state agencies. His voice has been heard on Madison radio for more than 30 years. A native of Sparta, John has also worked in La Crosse and Sparta. E-mail John Colbert

Robin Colbert, News Anchor

Chandra Lynn, Executive Producer/Buzz Anchor
Chandra Lynn joined News/Talk 1310 WIBA in 2004. She is the executive producer of Madison in the Morning and Outside the Box with Mitch Henck. She anchors the "Morning Buzz" weekday mornings before the 7:30 news.  She also some newscasts during the mid-morning and early afternoon.  You can also hear her on our sister stations:   101.5 WIBA-FM, Z104 and the MIC 92.1.  She is originally from Fond du Lac. Phil Dawson, Sports Anchor
Phil Dawson has been part of the Madison in the Morning team since 2006.  He moved from traffic anchor to sports anchor in 2008. A native of Madison, Phil attended Verona Area High School. He then studied broadcasting at Winona State Universtiy, serving as sports director at KQAL and ESPN Radio in La Crosse. In addition to his morning duties, Phil is co-host of SportsCentral, which airs weeknights and Saturdays on 1310 WIBA. E-mail Phil Dawson

Brian Olson, WKOW 27 Storm Track Meteorologist
Brian Olson is the morning meteorologist at WKOW-TV 27. A native of Long Island, he holds a degree in Meteorology from the State University of New York at Albany. He has earned the Seal of Approval from both the National Weather Association and the American Meterological Society. He started his career in Iowa, then went to Maryland, before arriving in Madison. Brian is a serious bowler, a less serious golfer, and also enjoys softball and racquetball. He lives in Madison with his wife Kristen and their parade of pets.
