Madison woman arrested after fight in Walgreens parking lot

MADISON (WKOW) — A Sun Prairie woman was hurt and a Madison woman arrested Thursday night when a fight ensued in the parking lot of a Madison Walgreens, according to the Madison Police Department.

Authorities said the victim, 30, was at the Walgreens in the 3700 block of East Washington Avenue at about 10:40 p.m. She passed the suspect in the store, 41-year-old Takenya Ewing, who she knew, but hadn’t seen for six years.

The victim received a laceration to her back and a puncture wound to her abdomen from an “edged weapon.” The injuries are non-life threatening.

Ewing was arrested for 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.
