UPDATE (WKOW) — One person is dead after a crash on East Washington Avenue early Thursday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.
The two-car crash was reported at about 1 a.m. near Dickinson Street. All lanes are blocked in that area while a reconstruction team responds.
At about 2:50 a.m., lanes were still blocked. Authorities expect them to stay that way for several hours.
Authorities said they aren’t sure how many other people were in the vehicles involved.
