Police locate driver, passenger of vehicle that flipped on John Nolen Drive

UPDATE (WKOW) — The Madison Police Department has found a driver and a passenger who were allegedly in a car that flipped on John Nolen Drive Tuesday morning.

The pair was not in the vehicle when emergency crews arrived at the scene at about 3 a.m., spurring a search.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital. No word on the extent of their injuries or where they were located.

UPDATE (WKOW) — Madison police officers are looking for the person who was driving a vehicle when it apparently flipped several times on John Nolen Drive Tuesday morning, according to the Madison Police Department.

Authorities are looking at surveillance video from the area to learn more about what happened.

They ask if anyone has knowledge of the incident they are encouraged to contact the Madison Police Department or the Madison area Crimestoppers program at (608) 266-6014.

MADISON (WKOW) — A part of John Nolen Drive in Madison is shut down early Tuesday morning because of a rollover crash, according to Dane County dispatch.

Dispatch tells 27 News that the closure runs from John Nolen Drive at North Shore Drive to East Lakeside Street in outbound lanes.

Officials say the first call came in around 3:11 a.m. for a rollover crash at John Nolen Drive and North Shore Drive. They say at least one vehicle is involved in the crash.

Police, fire, and EMS are on scene. No word yet on the extent of injuries.
