Badger wide receiver Quintez Cephus, who announced over the weekend that he is taking a leave of absence from the team because of pending legal action, faces two felony sexual assault charges.
Cephus is charged with one count of third-degree sexual assault and one count of second degree sexual assault-intoxicated victim, according to online court records.
Cephus is expected to have an initial appearance at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, according to the Dane County District Attorney's office.
