Crash between Mt Horeb and Verona injures 2

Madison, WI.  April 3, 2018 - Two people were transported by ambulance to UW Hospital after a crash at Windy Oak Lane and Highway 18/151 in the town of Springdale this morning.

Dane County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at 8:05 am, where Brady Foate, age 20 of Madison, was traveling on Windy Oak Lane and failed to yield to a Nissan Murano traveling eastbound on Highway 18/151.  The Nissan was operated by 56-year-old Sarah Elms of Mt. Horeb.  Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and their injuries are not considered life threatening.

Foate will receive a citation for failure to yield.  Mt. Horeb Fire and EMS, along with Fitch-Rona EMS also responded to the crash.  The scene had traffic rerouted for approximately 45 minutes.
