Middleton police confirms the body washed up on shore of Lake Mendota is Middleton missing man, Mark Hoover.
Hoover has been missing since the overnight hours of Thursday, April 6 from his home in Middleton.

MIDDLETON (WKOW) --- Officials are on scene where a body was found in the water at Marshall Park near Middleton.
Dane County officials confirm crews are on the scene. Madison police say a City of Madison Parks' employee discovered a body near the shoreline shortly before 1:00 Thursday afternoon. The park is located in the City of Madison, but borders Middleton.
Madison Police, Middleton Police and the Dane County Sheriff's Office are all working with the Dane County Medical Examiner on this case.
